The Urban Culture Institute – City of Weaves is an active member of the international CultureAndHealth Platform.
Led by Culture Action Europe, the CultureAndHealth Platform supports artists and local communities by providing funding for projects that bridge culture and health, as well as opportunities to participate in international exchanges. Participants have access to training sessions and courses, both in-person and online. Additionally, events are organized across Europe, where experts share their knowledge and experience. The platform also provides access to an online database featuring best practices and opportunities for collaboration.
The initiative brings together 16 organizations from 14 countries, including the Urban Culture Institute – City of Weaves from Bielsko-Biała, Poland. The institute marked the beginning of its partnership within the network by hosting the international conference "Culture for Health and Well-being" in November 2024.
